Founded by Mike and Dolores Rose after two decades with Rose Kitchens, Lubina has expanded significantly over the years—outgrowing two factories and quadrupling its team. For 30 years, the company has remained dedicated to delivering high-quality products, supporting retail showrooms and local developers alike.
Emma Rose, daughter of the founders, now oversees day-to-day operations after nearly 20 years with the company. Her journey in the family business began as a child, helping assemble cabinets during school holidays, and later, as Sales Director from 2005, she played a pivotal role in strengthening client relationships and driving company growth.
“Celebrating our 30th year has been incredible, and I’m excited to continue building on the strong foundations laid by my parents and our longstanding team,” said Emma Rose. “We’ve developed a fantastic network of clients, many of whom we now consider friends. I look forward to expanding our product range and enhancing our service to exceed customer expectations.”
Mike Rose, with 50 years of experience in the KBB industry, expressed pride in the seamless transition. “I’m proud to hand over the reins to Emma. Clients won’t notice any change, as we’ve been running the business together for years. I’m confident Lubina is in capable hands and will continue to thrive under Emma’s leadership.”
To celebrate the milestone, the company hosted an event at Colchester Football Club, including special presentations for team members with over 20 years of service. The day concluded with bowling and a few drinks, allowing the team to mark this achievement in true Lubina style.
Operating from a 22,000-square-foot facility with a fully equipped showroom, Lubina is committed to ongoing innovation and investment in its team, products, and operations. The company remains poised to embrace new opportunities while staying true to the values that have been its foundation for 30 years.
